Save the date and join us on 9 May 2023, in Rogner Hotel, Tirana, Albania for our next event under the Unlocking the Power of Data Initiative umbrella, in collaboration with the Albanian Institute of Statistics, Swiss Federal Statistical Office and the Embassy of Switzerland in Tirana.
The objective of this event is to raise awareness on the SDGs implementation in Albania with a focus on Data Literacy, and exchange experiences with Switzerland.
During the day we will discuss:
- “Switzerland experience with implementation of SDGs” with Georges-Simon Ulrich, Director General at the Swiss Federal Statistical Office
- “The importance of official Statistics for the SDG implementation” with Elsa Dhuli, Director General, Albanian Institute of Statistics.
- Panel discussion on the role and importance of SDGs in Albania with the Head of Secretariat of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on the SDGs, Chair of the Parliamentary Subcommittee for SDGs, Civil Society and Academia representatives which will further discuss the 2030 Agenda and what can be done in terms of data literacy and raising awareness.
